Award of the Minister of Health for Medical Research and Development

Since 2019, the Minister of Health has been presenting selected projects with awards for excellence in applied health research and development, achieved on the basis of special-purpose support provided by the Ministry of Health ČR. Each year, expert evaluation panels AZV ČR propose the best few successfully completed projects in a given year, from which the scientific Board and the Bureau of the Agency then select ten candidates for the award. Five research teams will receive the main award for their projects, the Minister of Health Award for Health Research and Development, together with a financial reward of CZK 100,000, while five other research teams will receive an Honorary Mention from the Minister of Health.
