European Partnership for Pandemic Preparedness (EP BE-READY NOW)
The BE-READY NOW co-funded partnership aims to strengthen the EU's ability to anticipate and respond more effectively to emerging infectious threats and to focus on research and innovation in health and biotechnology. The partnership will take place in two phases. The first phase activities, planned for three years, will focus primarily on exploring the ways in which clinical trials are designed and implemented in the EU to address public health emergencies, including the use of new approaches such as computer modelling. The second phase, building on the first, will last four years.
