ERDERA has announced a call for proposals focused on clinical trials: Clinical Trial Call 2026
On July 1, 2026 , the European Partnership for Rare Diseases (ERDERA) announced a new call for proposals , the Clinical Trial Call 2026 (ECTC). The call supports transnational early-phase interventional clinical trials in the field of rare diseases that are conducted in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Potential applicants can review thetext ofthe call for proposals, which is available for download on the ERDERA. The document contains detailed information on the focus of the call, priority areas, eligibility criteria, funding methods, the evaluation process, and the individual stages of the project proposal submission process.
It is important for applicants to note that, unlike standard ERDERA Joint Transnational Calls (JTCs), this call is funded centrally through the Fondazione Telethon (FTELE). Czech institutions are therefore eligible to participate regardless of whether a national funding agency is involved, provided they meet the call’s international requirements. Up to 30 million euros has been allocated for project funding, with the estimated amount of support ranging from approximately 1 to 5 million euros per project.
We would also like to remind you of an informational webinar organized by ERDERA, which will take place on July 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CEST. During the webinar, the terms of the call for proposals will be presented, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. Link to registration HERE.
