We have new panelists!

The nine expert review panels of the Agency for Healthcare Research (AZV) ČR have been enriched since July 2024 by more than two dozen top experts selected on the basis of more stringent requirements for their professional quality. Prof. Zuzana MUDr. Zuzana Mot'ovská, Ph.D., from the Cardiology Clinic of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague and the Royal Vinohrady Hospital, has become a new member of the Agency's Scientific Council.

"We very much appreciate the cooperation with our new colleagues and are convinced that their expertise and experience will be a significant asset to our agency. Personally, I am pleased that we have been able to increase the representation of women on the various evaluation panels and that our efforts to achieve gender balance in their composition have been successful. All this, of course, while maintaining uniform requirements for professional quality," says Professor Ondřej Slabý, Chair AZV ČR . He adds that the number of female panelists in the professional evaluation panels has increased from 18% to 28%, while the total number of panelists with an h-index higher than 20 has increased from 39% to 55%.
