Newsletter AZV ČR 1/2025 was published

We have prepared this year's first issue of the newsletter of the ČR Medical Research Agency, which summarizes the most important events of the past six months. We are very pleased that we have seen an extraordinary interest in the VES 2026 public competition - the number of submitted project proposals has increased by almost 20% compared to last year. We see this increase as a demonstration of the scientific community's confidence in our activities and as a commitment to all those involved in medical research in the Czech Republic. Another major step forward is the fact that the government has approved a new Subprogramme 4 "Support to National Authorities in Priority Areas of Health Research", which we prepared together with the Ministry of Health and which should provide long-term financial support to the national authorities established in the ČR thanks to the EXCELES programme of the Ministry of Education and Science of ČR.
